Job Description

Job Summary:

The stocker is responsible for efficiently managing the flow of goods within the warehouse. This role involves receiving, organizing, and stocking products, ensuring that inventory is accurately tracked, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.

Shift Availability: 430am-1pm Sundays and Mondays

Location:

5915 Broadway, Denver, CO, 80216- this is NOT remote opportunity

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Stock and restock products in designated locations in the warehouse.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels through daily tasks and audits.
  • Ensure that all items are stocked in accordance with safety and organizational guidelines.
  • Rotate stock to ensure older items are used first and minimize waste.
  • Prepares fresh produce for stocking by washing, peeling, cutting, and portioning.
  • Accepts, verifies, inspects, and records all deliveries according to policy.
  • Assists with unloading, stocking, quality inspection, and safe storage of produce and other products
  • Processes invoices, supplying necessary data to Accounts Payable for payment and record keeping.
  • Maintains accurate daily records of product received and shipments made; notifies leadership of any receiving issues.
  • Performs other related duties as requested.

Required Skills/Abilities:

•Excellent communication skills.

•Basic understanding of inventory control procedures and systems.

•Proficient keyboarding skills.

•Excellent time management skills.

•Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

•Extremely organized and able to work with minimum supervision.

•Ability to develop professional relationships with outside vendors.

•Ability to perform basic math calculations.

Preferred Education and Experience:

•High school diploma or equivalent preferred

•Experience with computerized inventory systems required.

•Experience with grocery, retail, or produce preferred.

•Forklift operator certification preferred.

•Food Handler or Food Manager certified

Physical Requirements: 

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Must be able to complete various activities in the warehouse that may

require hours of lifting, standing, walking, reaching, and carrying.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.

  • Must be able to operate heavy machinery such as baler, electric pallet jack, and forklift.
