Responsibilities include loading and unloading cargo, sorting shipments, and ensuring proper documentation and placement. You'll work closely with team members to maintain operational flow and adhere to safety standards. Flexibility in hours and a strong attention to detail are essential for this role.
Job Responsibilities:
* Efficiently load and unload freight from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
* Sort and organize shipments based on destination, size, and type to streamline the loading process.
* Verify shipping documentation and labels for accuracy, including tracking numbers and addresses.
* Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks safely and effectively.
* Conduct routine inspections of cargo and equipment to identify and report any damage or safety concerns.
* Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals and address any issues promptly.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
* Adhere to all company safety protocols and regulations to promote a safe working environment.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 per hour
