GMN Early Head Start is accepting applications for the following position: Parent Educator/Home Visitor (Home Base) – EPIC Center – Guernsey County Starting hourly wage:

• 16.14 per hour with Home Visitor CDA
• 17.64 per hour with Associate’s Degree
• 19.36 per hour with Bachelor’s Degree

40 Hours per week 48-52 Weeks per year Responsibilities: Working with children ages birth - 3 years of age and pregnant women. Parent Educators will make a weekly 1.5-hour home visit with 12 families. Duties will include planning and implementing home-based learning experiences that ensure effective implementation of the home visiting curriculum and promote children’s progress and to build respectful, culturally responsive, and trusting relationships with families. Regular work hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Qualifications: Minimum of a Home Visitors CDA credential or comparable credential, or equivalent coursework as part of an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree or an Associate’s Degree in early childhood or child development.
