Position: Remote Litigation Paralegal
Client: Government Agency
Engagement Type: Temporary – 12-month assignment with potential for extension
Start Date: September/October (onboarding may be staggered)
Pay Rate: $20-$29/hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, aligned with Eastern Standard Time business hours
Location: Fully Remote (equipment will be provided)

Overview:
A leading government agency is seeking a detail-oriented Litigation Paralegal to support a dynamic legal team on a long-term project. This fully remote opportunity offers meaningful work and the chance to contribute to a high-impact legal initiative.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Draft legal documents, including settlement agreements and internal memoranda
• Manage intake, review, and assignment of incoming complaints
• Prepare and file Motions of Appearance
• Schedule and participate in status conferences
• Handle correspondence and client communication with professionalism
• Provide general legal and administrative support
• Accurately perform data entry and case documentation

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree with prior experience as a paralegal
• Ability to commit to the entire duration of the assignment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Comfortable managing a fast-paced and high-volume workload
• Proficiency with various legal and administrative software systems
