Description The Paralegal at DYADlaw, P.C. is detail-oriented and serves to advocate for immigration and immigrant rights. This role demands proficiency in managing legal documentation and supporting attorneys through the complexities of immigration law cases. The Paralegal will be integral in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our legal proceedings.
Responsibilities •Conduct thorough legal research and provide support in case preparation and document management for immigration-related matters.
•Prepare and review legal documents including petitions, affidavits, and briefs, ensuring compliance with applicable legal standards.
•Manage the assembly of case files and ensure all pertinent documents are complete and filed correctly.
•Assist with the preparations and submissions of responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs) and other inquiries from government agencies.
•Engage in direct communication with clients, gathering necessary documentation, and information, and providing updates on case progress.
•Coordinate and oversee the quality assurance of case reviews to ensure all filings meet the necessary legal and evidentiary standards before submission.
•Train and mentor junior staff and interns on legal procedures and case preparation techniques.
•Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in immigration law and procedures and apply this knowledge to active cases.
•Assist attorneys in preparing for hearings and trials, including drafting various documents for submission, working with clients to gather information or evidence, preparing exhibits and other documents for submission, assisting with filing documents with the court, relevant agencies, as well as relevant parties, and assisting with preparing clients or witnesses witness testimony.
Qualifications •
In-Office Preference : We prefer the legal team to be onsite to interact directly with the team and clients.

•Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
•Certification or associate's degree in Paralegal Studies; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
•A minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal, specifically in immigration law.
•Proficiency with legal database software, and standard office software including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and Adobe Acrobat.
•Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
•Excellent communication skills, capable of handling sensitive client interactions with professionalism and care.
•Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
•Commitment to confidentiality and ethical conduct in all work-related activities.
