Position Summary:

Carl Buddig is seeking a Packaging Engineer or a Process Engineer Intern to support our optimization production processes and process and packaging solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design, testing, and optimization of packaging materials.
  • Support process improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality.
  • Conduct research on sustainable packaging and manufacturing best practices.
  • Perform packaging performance tests and analyze results.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, quality, operations) to implement packaging and process improvements.
  • Troubleshoot packaging and process-related issues in production.
  • Collect and analyze data to support process and packaging enhancements and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Prepare technical reports and presentations on findings and recommendations.

Education & Experience:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Packaging, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of packaging design, manufacturing processes, and testing methods.
  • Passion for innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.
  • Excellent communication and communication skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Office work and plant work will require warmer attire.
