System One is seeking a Security Officer to support our client's facilities in Lynchburg on a part-time basis on weekends (24 hours a week, 6pm-6am). This is a long-term contract opportunity. Responsibilities: Conduct routine patrols of buildings and perimeter areas. Issue badges to company personnel and visitors as needed. Monitor the premises via surveillance equipment and physical patrols. Utilize security databases and software applications. Respond to alarm events and assist the emergency team during drills. Conduct searches of individuals, packages, and vehicles as necessary. Ensure compliance with all security protocols for employees, visitors, and customers. Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by adhering to all safety standards. Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends. Qualifications: Trustworthy, dependable, and reliable. Flexible and adaptable to changing needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in computer and software applications. Effective problem-solving abilities.
