Job Overview

Competitive pay, flex hours, part-time! We are looking to hire Music Instructors who can teach one or more of the following: Drums, Guitar, Ukulele, Violin and/or Viola! The ideal candidate will have a background in music education and previous experience in teaching music. This role involves teaching from an established curriculum (you don't have to create the lessons, we do it for you!) and fostering a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach private and semi-private lessons using Bach to Rock curriculum and cover song arrangements
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their growth
• Assess a student’s readiness to join a band or ensemble
• Assist at school events

Requirements/Skills

• Must demonstrate an understanding of music concepts, theory, techniques relevant to their instrument(s) and be able to communicate those concepts effectively to students
• Be able to teach from music lessons books
• Previous music teaching experience
• Playing 2+ instruments very desirable
• Ability to pass a background check
• Part-time, some weekend day availability required
