Internships at the World Trade Center Institute offer unique hands-on experience and unparalleled networking opportunities. All interns are assigned real life tasks and given professional titles to be used throughout the semester. WTCI's interns attend all of our prestigious events and get a chance to practice valuable networking skills. Some of our best interns go on to full-time positions with many of our clients some of Maryland's most prestigious institutions.
About the Role
The Membership & Business Development Intern will work closely with the Senior Manager of Membership & Business Development to learn about international business, nonprofit operations, and modern CRM systems. This is a hands-on learning opportunity where you'll gain experience with technology tools, data analysis, and professional networking while supporting our membership team with day-to-day operations.

Internship Details
Duration: Fall 2025 Semester
Start Date:

End Date:
December 12th, 2025
Hours: Minimum 15 hours per week
Schedule: Some availability during standard business hours required; in-office presence at least two days per week
Events: Attendance at WTCI events expected and encouraged
Stipend:
$3,000 total
Presentation: End-of-semester presentation to WTCI staff showcasing projects and insights
Undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply. This internship is designed for students early in their careers who are eager to learn and grow. Longer-term arrangements can be discussed based on performance and organizational needs.
