Position Overview
The Maintenance Technician at The Westminster Schools is a key contributor to the upkeep and operational integrity of the Schools facilities. This full-time, year-round position is responsible for performing a wide variety of maintenance tasks across campus buildings and grounds. These include general repair work, preventative maintenance, basic plumbing and electrical repairs, painting, and inspections, using a range of hand and power tools to ensure that school spaces are functional, safe, and well-maintained.

The Maintenance Technician at The Westminster Schools is a key contributor to the upkeep and operational integrity of the Schools facilities. This full-time, year-round position is responsible for performing a wide variety of maintenance tasks across campus buildings and grounds. These include general repair work, preventative maintenance, basic plumbing and electrical repairs, painting, and inspections, using a range of hand and power tools to ensure that school spaces are functional, safe, and well-maintained. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Maintenance Technician works both independently and as part of a team, responding to daily work orders and assisting with special projects as needed. The role requires flexibility, initiative, and a customer-service mindset, often involving evening and weekend work during school events or periods of high demand. Through their work, the Maintenance Technician supports the Schools mission and provides an environment where students and faculty can thrive in pursuit of academic and personal excellence. Supervisor : Maintenance Supervisor Supervisory Responsibilities : None Position Status : Hourly, Non-exempt, Full-time,12-month position Hours of Work : This is a full-time, year-round position. Standard work week with non-traditional work hours expectations. Evening and weekend work will be required during periods of heavy workload, campus special events, or facilities emergencies.
