Overview:
The Logistics Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the movement of goods, managing inventory, and coordinating logistics operations within the organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement logistics strategies, policies, and procedures
- Manage and optimize transportation and distribution processes
- Oversee inventory management and warehousing activities
- Lead and mentor the logistics team to ensure high performance
- Monitor and analyze logistics KPIs to drive continuous improvement
- Negotiate contracts and rates with shipping lines, carriers, and other vendors

- Resolve transportation and logistics issues in a timely manner
- Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining service levels

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or relevant field
- Proven experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- Excellent understanding of logistics and inventory management principles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficient in logistics software and MS Office applications
- In-depth knowledge of local and international shipping regulations
- Outstanding negotiation and communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Certification in logistics and supply chain management is a plus
- Proven track record of optimizing logistics operations and reducing costs
