Domestic Couple Westport, CT
Days : Monday to Friday
Salary : $200,000 - $230,000/yr. health insurance, two weeks' vacation
Living Accommodations: Suite, and possibly a separate cottage
Position Overview: A distinguished mature couple is seeking a professional, more formal Domestic Couple to manage various aspects of their waterfront estate in Westport, Connecticut. This live-in position is ideal for a stable couple who are experienced in ensuring the principals' safety while demonstrating compassionate understanding and preserving independence. Responsibilities include housekeeping, cooking, driving, light maintenance, and vendor management.
Responsibilities:
Female Candidate (Housekeeper/Cook):
- Full charge of Housekeeping duties, including laundry
- Informal breakfast at 10 AM egg, toast, black tea, and coffee. Prepare set and serve lunch (1 -2 PM and dinner (7 8 PM), Chicken to Fish, light veggies (breaks throughout the day)
- Shop for groceries and household supplies.
Male Candidate (Handyman/Chauffeur):
- Perform handyman tasks and light maintenance around the property.
- Vendor management
- Drive the couple around town and Manhattan to their apartment and/or events and appointments
- Help with heavy cleaning
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in similar roles is preferred.
- Must speak clear English.
- Good driving record and experience.
- Strong mechanical and technology skills.
- Service-minded with sensitivity to clients' boundaries
- Proven ability to provide a safe environment while demonstrating compassionate understanding, preserving independence, and upholding dignity.
