POSITION SUMMARY: Sugarbush Resort is on the lookout for Level 3 Lift Maintenance Technicians to join our Mountain Operations team! As a Lift Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of our lifts. Your responsibilities will include monitoring, maintaining, and repairing lift equipment in accordance with all applicable rules and regulations. If you have a solid mechanical/electrical skill set and thrive in a team environment, we want to hear from you! **Plus, enjoy a $2000 sign-on bonus, paid out in two installments: $1000 after 6 months and $1000 after 12 months!**
RESPONSIBILITIES: - 🔧 Maintain and repair all lift equipment, from conveyors to high-speed detachable quads.
- ❄️ Conduct regular maintenance, pre-operational checks, mid-day inspections, and respond to lift breakdowns during the winter season.
- 🌞 Perform thorough inspections of all lift components, tower work, and grip and chair maintenance during the summer season.
- ⚙️ Work on hydraulic systems, braking systems, rigging, gasoline and diesel engines up to 900 Hp, and low voltage safety circuits.
QUALIFICATIONS: - 🎓 High school diploma or equivalent.
- 🔧 Minimum of two years of mechanical or electrical experience.
- 🚡 Detachable lift experience is a plus.
- ⏳ Ability to work under timelines and pressure.
- 🤝 Willingness to work independently as well as part of a larger team.
- ⚠️ Adherence to all safety policies and procedures is a must.
- 🏔️ Ability to climb and work at substantial heights and in all weather conditions.
- 💪 Must be able to lift and carry loads up to 100 pounds.
- 🚗 Valid driver’s license required.
- 📅 Availability to work on weekends and holidays.
- 🔍 Must recognize and adhere to safety concerns and established protocols.
