Location: Garden City, Long Island, NY (On-site)

Our client, a prominent New York plaintiff-side Personal Injury Law Firm, is seeking a Senior Legal Assistant with extensive experience in Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice litigation. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with the firm’s partners in a dynamic, client-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft and file pleadings, complaints, bills of particulars, discovery responses, and related litigation documents
• Coordinate the retrieval and review of medical records, and handle Medicare and Medicaid final reporting
• Handle client intake and communication throughout all phases of litigation
• Assist with mediation and deposition preparation
• Provide comprehensive support for trial preparation
• Schedule depositions, medical exams, and court appearances as needed
• Manage multiple active cases efficiently in a high-volume environment

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Plaintiff Personal Injury and Medical Malpractice
• Prior experience reporting to leadership
• Proficiency in Time Matters, e-filing (NYSCEF), and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong communication skills – verbal and written
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain organized under pressure
• Comfortable and professional in client-facing situations

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $65,000 – $75,000
