Your Role as Practice Manager As Practice Manager, you'll partner closely with the Medical Director and regional leadership to oversee hospital operations, team performance, and client satisfaction. You'll play a key role in strengthening engagement, supporting growth, and fostering a culture where both people and pets thrive.
Key Responsibilities Human Resources & Team Leadership - Recruit, train, and retain a high-performing, compassionate team
- Foster a culture of communication, collaboration, and accountability
- Lead regular team meetings to maintain alignment and shared goals
- Encourage ongoing professional development and recognize achievements
- Address team concerns promptly and with care
- Ensure compliance with safety, HR, and workplace protocols
Business & Financial Operations - Oversee daily hospital operations, optimizing workflow and client experience
- Manage KPIs and financial performance (revenue, payroll, inventory, etc.)
- Collaborate on client growth and marketing initiatives
- Oversee equipment maintenance and practice management systems
- Refine and implement standard operating procedures
- Support a service-oriented, continuous improvement mindset
What You Bring - 2+ years of experience in a veterinary management role
- Strong leadership and people management skills
- Organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Financial acumen including budget oversight and KPI tracking
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A positive attitude and dedication to creating a workplace where people are "Happy Here"
