Job Description

Listen and Learn is a successful language training company working with freelance trainers all over the world to provide private tuition for numerous languages, but mainly in the USA. We have students (private and corporate) who need to learn languages, anytime and anywhere. Thus, we organize teachers for them at their offices or their homes.

We might have a job for you as a Italian teacher. One of our clients in Las Vegas would like to have one-to-one GENERAL Italian classes.

This student wishes to have classes at home in Las Vegas, 89178. 
Type of course: 42-hour course. Classes of two hours should be held once per week, on Tuesdays or Thursdays at 2 or 3 pm preferred.

Time to start: 7th January.

Information about this student:

Estimated Current Language Level: Beginner

Native language: English

Motivation: She will be visiting Italy in June (her daughter is spending a year abroad attending school in the south. She would like to be able to speak with her host family, and navigate with some confidence).

Student's age group: F: 56-64

Aspect of the language mostly interested in: All of them. She is a teacher (taught High school Spanish), used to speak some French & German too. She learns best when she can do written exercises, has a book, and practice the language in every way possible.

 

Ideal teacher should:

• Be a native Italian speaker or hold a teaching degree and have excellent English skills or be fully bilingual.
• Have experience as a language teacher, translator or interpreter.
• Have a valid working visa.
• Live up to 20 miles from the client´s location.

Location of the classes and schedule could be flexible based on your and the client’s availability. The hourly rate is negotiable depending on qualifications and experience. This is a freelance part-time position, and we are not able to sponsor your visa.
