We are looking for an IT Manager to lead cybersecurity efforts and oversee critical aspects of information technology within our organization. This Contract-to-Permanent position is based in the Johnstown, Pennsylvania area, and offers an opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies while ensuring the security and efficiency of networks, data systems, and software solutions. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise with leadership skills to manage security protocols and support both internal teams and external clients.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive cybersecurity protocols, including intrusion detection and prevention systems, to safeguard organizational data and systems.

• Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements to firewalls, antivirus software, and other security measures.

• Provide training and guidance to employees and customers on security best practices, risk management, and incident response.

• Manage and oversee Horizon-specific technologies, including Amazon Server Administration, VMware, and cloud security solutions.

• Create, maintain, and execute the organization's Disaster Recovery Plan to ensure business continuity.

• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address IT-related issues, including data access, programming modifications, and security violations.

• Monitor and update anti-virus systems to protect against emerging threats and ensure software is functioning effectively.

• Coordinate and schedule the implementation of data security protocols, ensuring compliance with industry standards and government regulations.

• Write and update policies and procedures related to IT security and emergency measures, conducting regular tests to ensure effectiveness.

• Conduct IT assessments for Horizon Software customers, maintaining and updating IT specifications and minimum requirements documentation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT management or cybersecurity roles.
• Expertise in Active Directory, backup technologies, and Cisco systems.
• Proven knowledge of computer hardware and configuration management.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure and multi-factor authentication systems.
• Strong skills in managing and adapting security processes, applications, and tools.
• Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement effective data encryption measures.
• Experience in writing and maintaining IT policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
