Job Description

Dematic/KION Group IT is looking for a candidate to fill a global IT Business Partner (ITBP) role supporting customer relations functions including Marketing, Solutions Development, Sales, and Customer Service. This role will also have a heavy focus on AI and applying AI to drive capabilities and efficiencies across the organization. The ITBP has the overall responsibility of serving as the strategic interface between assigned business units for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, service management, risk management, and relationship management. The ITBP is a proactive "trusted advisor" and is the primary IT point of contact to business line executives and managers. The ITBP delivers comprehensive programs, initiatives, and solutions to the functional areas of the organization in support of key business strategies and business transformation. Support demand management and work with business leaders to find and prioritize projects for execution. The ITBP serves as a lead role in enabling the business to achieve its objectives through the effective use of technology. The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $100,500 - $147,400 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and Qualifications: This is what we are looking for: Collaborate with internal global customers including executives and managers to align business strategy and objectives with overall IT roadmap Serve as trusted advisor to the commercial functions on technology related matters. Collaborate in planning and attending regular business activities to support the delivery of crucial IT services and new technologies in alignment with business objectives Organizes continuous global alignments on relevant levels with the business and identify their needs Acts as a global business partner and works closely together with America's and EMEA business teams Meet with business and talks about future strategic or tactical plans to be ahead of the tool selection Proactively drive the rollout of validated KION standards Collaborate with Portfolio Management and Project Management on demand intake and prioritization across the company Ensure alignment of technology roadmaps for the areas served with IT strategy and standards Identify and maintain the portfolio of projects and needs in Service Now Gather business requirements and together with IT and Business Transformation create solution concepts, recommendations, business cases, and ROIs Leverages deep experience and broad knowledge of technical and business resources to effectively design solutions, options, and recommendations and then coordinate team members to deliver Identify, screen, and evaluate new solution opportunities with enterprise solution architects, cyber security, data protection, procurement, and IT platform/service owners to fulfil KION standards Oversee the launch of solutions to help enhance the positive impact on the organization Follow defined demand management process to ensure compliance and successful audits Willingness to take on strategic assignments such as implementing AI solutions that will improve customer satisfaction Models our Values of Integrity, Collaboration, Courage, and Excellence What we are looking for: Strong personality to discuss on management level and represents KION IT strategy Demonstrable ability to inspire a team, articulate a vision, and influence internal customers Excellent analytical and diagnostic capability Ability to interpret the requirements of end users, project managers, and other stakeholders Strong customer service focus , and able to build and maintain positive and constructive relationships Ability to work well with people from many different disciplines and cultures with varying degrees of technical and business expertise Effective problem solver and strategic planner, Performance driven and organized Strong analytical and requirements gathering capabilities who can connect the dots from global perspective Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines Results oriented with demonstrated experience in spearheading working sessions with multiple partners Self-starter who can effectively manage multiple items with minimal direction Adaptability in changing business environments Strong Business Sense Willingness to tackle other business areas as needed Knowledge,Education, and Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science or a comparable qualification 10 to 15 years of IT and business work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and functions 5+ years developing and driving strategic plans including project management, business analysis, requirements gathering, and streamlining Experience working in large global matrix organizations Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Products Experience with CRM technologies such as Salesforce, SAP Commerce Cloud, SAP Service Cloud, SAP Field Service Management, Adobe Marketo Experience with SAP S/4Hana or ECC in various modules Experience with applying AI technologies and LLM to solve specific business use cases such as OpenAI ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft CoPilot, and others Solid understanding of Service Now preferred Travel: Up to 10% travel (including international)
