We are seeking a full-time assistant interior designer to join our team. The position is responsible for working with our in-house development and construction team as well as outside consulting architectural firms on interior designs, material and product selections, coordination, etc. The ideal candidate has experience with multifamily designs and has strong communication and people skills

Responsibilities:

- Assist the Design Department with the creation of design presentations, including assisting with AutoCAD elevations, PhotoShop, and Sketchup. 

- Formulate designs that are aesthetic and conducive to the client. Calculate the specifications and cost of material for construction. Select design components to create unique and purposeful spaces. Source and select materials and fixtures that meet development guidelines.

- Participate in site walks, project calls and coordination meetings. Coordinate with build team to ensure design plans are implemented correctly.

- Participate in client presentations, specifically by sourcing materials and creating samples and design boards.

- Creation of job site and construction binders and digital construction documents.

- Positive, uplifting, and professional demeanor in and out of the office, while working with fellow team members, vendors, and clients. Be an active problem solver. Communicate effectively with Design Director, Construction Department, and Managing Partners. Eagerness to learn and advance.

- Assist with the purchasing, installation and arrangement of furniture, houseware and decor items, and styling during photo shoots.

- Manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or equivalent experience.
- Experience as an Interior Design assistant or intern.
- Proficient in using design software such as Adobe Creative Suite and AutoCAD.
- Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and design principles.
