The Fiberglass Mold Technician is responsible for artistically and accurately creating patterns for molds. In addition to making and modify prototypes for design development and validation. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  

• \tUses proven and new methods to make high quality patterns, plugs, molds, and parts. 
• \tMakes changes to existing molds and parts to update and improve as instructed by management. 
• \tUses precise measuring equipment such as laser aligners, levels, dividers, calipers, squares. 
• \tAssists other functions as assigned. 
• \tWorks in a manner that is safe to self and others. 
• \tKeeps work area safe, clean and hazard free.   
• \tWorks in a productive manner, maintaining a high degree of accuracy, and the efficient use of time and effort. 
• \tALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED. 

EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:  

• \tExperience with fiber glass mmold application preferred. 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:  

• \tN/A 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  

• \tRegular walking, standing, lifting up to 50lbs, bending, stooping, working with hands, etc. 

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT : 

• \tPerforms tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.
