Job Summary

Executive Chef with expertise in authentic Indian cuisine. The ideal candidate will lead kitchen operations, develop innovative menus, and ensure the highest standards of food quality and presentation. Responsibilities include overseeing food preparation, managing kitchen staff, and maintaining a focus on traditional Indian flavors while incorporating modern culinary techniques. Strong leadership, organizational skills, and a passion for Indian culinary traditions are essential for this role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

• Design and implement menus that showcase traditional Indian flavors, following corporate nutritional guidelines.
• Ensure adherence to standardized recipes, taste tests, portioning, and presentation standards.
• Train and manage kitchen staff on proper food preparation, safety, sanitation, and equipment use, while maintaining routine cleaning schedules.
• Manage inventory to ensure availability of necessary products without excess and make decisions on the utilization of leftover ingredients to minimize waste.
• Uphold all health and safety regulations, ensuring compliance through regular audits.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

• Culinary Arts Degree or equivalent with 3-5 years of managerial experience in Indian cuisine.
• Extensive catering and high-volume operational experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; ServSafe certification is a plus.
