Position Overview Crain Automotive is seeking a highly motivated Detail Operations Director to oversee and manage the detailing operations for our 8 dealership locations across North West Arkansas. This position will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient, high-quality performance of the detailing teams while maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of 40-50 employees across multiple locations, ensuring that our vehicles are presented in pristine condition for customers, while also optimizing workflow and team performance. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Supervision : Manage and supervise a team of 40-50 employees across multiple dealership locations, ensuring that all detailing staff adhere to company standards and best practices. Operations Management : Oversee the daily operations of the detailing department in Ft. Smith, Fayetteville, Springdale, and Bentonville, ensuring efficient workflow, timely completion of tasks, and a consistently high standard of vehicle appearance. Quality Control : Ensure that all vehicles meet Crain Automotive’s quality standards for interior and exterior cleanliness, paint protection, and final presentation. Team Development : Provide leadership, coaching, and training to employees to ensure skills development and a motivated team. Foster a positive, productive work environment. Inventory & Supply Management : Maintain an organized and well-stocked inventory of detailing supplies. Order and replenish products as needed to ensure operational efficiency. Scheduling & Staffing : Create and manage employee schedules, ensuring sufficient coverage across all locations. Address any staffing shortages or issues in a timely manner. Customer Satisfaction : Ensure customer satisfaction through timely delivery of impeccably detailed vehicles and proactively resolve any issues related to the detailing process. Collaboration : Work closely with other department managers, including sales and service, to support the overall operations and contribute to the dealership’s success. Qualifications Experience : Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive detailing or operations management, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership role overseeing multiple locations or teams. Leadership Skills : Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a diverse team of employees. Organizational Skills : Excellent time management and organizational abilities. Ability to oversee multiple locations and handle competing priorities. Attention to Detail : A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of vehicle appearance. Communication Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with team members, customers, and other departments. Problem-Solving : Ability to identify issues, analyze situations, and implement solutions to improve operations and employee performance. Flexibility : Willingness to travel between the dealership locations in Ft. Smith, Fayetteville, Springdale, and Bentonville as needed. Additional Information Full benefits package will be provided, including health, dental, vision, and retirement plans, after 90 days of employment. This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
