Minimum Experience/Education Required Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2years of professional driving experience
- 1 year of customer service experience
Departmental Preferred Experience, Skills, Training/Education: - Previous driving experience
- Customer service experience
- CDL
Duties and Responsibilities Support day-to-day Transportation business services for the AM Greek Fixed Route. Also including Niner Paratransit, shared-mobility services for e-scooters and pedal-assist bicycles, bicycle lockers, bus advertising, chartered transportation requests, special event transportation, and other transportation-related services.
Other Work/Responsibilities - Direct responsibility for the care, safety, and security of vulnerable populations
- Direct responsibility for the secure handling of sensitive and/or confidential information.
- Direct responsibility for the daily or regular operation of State or University-owned vehicles.
Necessary Licenses or Certifications - Valid State Driver's License

Temporary staff employees are ineligible to receive benefits (leave, health coverage, State service credit, etc.). They are, however, covered by Worker's Compensation provisions.
However, any non-permanent employee hired to work 30 or more hours per week for three months or more (cumulative of all positions, and not designated as variable hour worker), must be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan, within 30 days of their eligibility. Any non-permanent employee hired to work less than 30 hours per week (cumulative of all positions or designated as variable hour worker - i.e. student workers) are measured during designated measurement periods. If they average 30 or more hours per week over a designated measurement period, they will be offered the chance to enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan and will be notified of instructions.
