Overview of Freelance Position:

As a freelance Graphic Designer - Motion Graphics, you will work with the Creative Director to understand client needs to bring their brand identity to motion graphics. Must be able to work creatively in a fast-paced environment and have excellent follow-through on all assigned projects, comfortable taking direction and being given feedback. Please note you do NOT need to know coding, this is strictly for motion graphics and social media.

Please note this is a freelance position at this time, we would be open to the idea of this person coming on full time but it will start as freelance.

Responsibilities:

• Work with specific brands to bring their brand identity to social media through motion graphics.
• Stay relevant on social media trends and know what trends work best with different brands.
• Create social media posts for brands across platforms.
• Design motion graphics for different platforms.
• Create sizzle reels with brand specific assets.
  

• Brainstorm with creative team to develop design concepts, gather research and build mood boards.

• Assist creative team members with projects and tasks as necessary.

• Maintain, organize and update digital brand assets on server.

• Ability to worksimultaneously on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Communicate with senior team members to receive feedback.
• Liaising effectively with other departments.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Associate's or Bachelor'sDegree in Fine ArtDesign, Marketing, Graphics or related discipline
• 5+ years of experience

• Portfolio of design work
• Experience in creating for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Tiktok, and other social media platforms.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Fluent in Mac platform
• Working knowledge of MS Office, Apple Keynote
• 3D Rendering capabilities
• Strong eye for design
• Team player with strong communication skills & good attitude
• Ability to pick up concepts and brand voice easily
• Ability to learn on the job and adapt to work needs quickly and efficiently in fast-paced setting on multiple projects- agility and flexibility is key
• Time management skills & ability to meet project deadlines
• The ability to see projects through from inception to production with excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
• Good organizational skills that support the rest of the team
• The motivation to maintain and improve design standards
• The willingness to listen to feedback and use it to improve
• Ability to present new ideas to team and management
