Position Description

This position will primarily oversee crews within our Telecommunications Division. Field Supervisors/General Foremen typically have 3 5 crew members reporting directly to them.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Direct responsibility for their crew, safety, project management and on-site client relations.
• Responsible for job layout and planning projects within the respective Divisional Unit to complete daily and weekly production goals to meet contract deadlines.
• Establish and enforce OSHA and Customer Safety Requirements for crews to prevent potential hazards to life and property.
• Ability to be a self-motivated, positive role model for the crews.
• Ability to interact and communicate well with Area Managers, Superintendents and Customers.
• Ensure proper equipment and materials are on the job site.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime. Some jobs will require out of town travel.
• Ability to perform physical labor in an outdoor environment, including inclement weather.

Position Requirements

• 5+ years experience as a Foreman in the utility/construction industry required.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft
• Valid Drivers License required, CDL preferred.
