More than just a brand, RANDOM/RANDOM is also a platform for artists. We offer photographers a new channel to share their work with the world—while earning a commission on every piece sold. Our curation spans both emerging talents and renowned names like Neal Slavin.
Designed in NYC and made in Japan, our garments are crafted from rare, top-tier materials. Our t-shirts use 100% Suvin cotton—the softest and most luxurious cotton in the world—giving them an unmistakable silky touch and superior durability.
RANDOM/RANDOM was founded by Marcelo Costa, a Brazilian-born creative director with over 20 years of experience across New York, London, and São Paulo.
THIS ROLE
We're looking for a freelance Copywriter with strong social media skills to join our team on a contract basis. This hybrid role is based in New York City and will require occasional in-person meetings.
You’ll collaborate closely with the Creative Director and play a key role in defining and executing the brand’s voice across social media, email, marketing campaigns, and our website. You will also support social media community management alongside our team.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of experience in copywriting and social media management
• Proven track record of growing brands through digital content strategy
• Excellent copywriting skills with a sharp, culturally aware tone
• Bachelor's degree in Arts, Design, Film, Marketing, Photography, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and deadlines with precision
• Strong strategic and problem-solving skills
• Experience in fashion, luxury, or art-focused brands is a plus
• A passion for fashion, photography, and contemporary culture
