Role Overview:

Sodexo is seeking a highly motivated Food Operations Manager 3 to join our team at BSA Hospital in Amarillo, Texas . The Food Operations Manager is responsible for managing daily food service operations for both Patient Dining and Retail Services, ensuring a seamless experience that supports patient health, guest satisfaction, and operational excellence.This is a great opportunity for a food service leader who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and is passionate about delivering quality service to both patients and guests.

What You'll Do:
  • motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly-paid), staff;
  • provide stellar customer service;
  • oversee cash handing processes, and POS programming and maintenance;
  • ensure company food and physical safety programs and standards are followed;
  • conduct patient services standard audits;
  • manage the opening and closing the operation as well daily patient services and retail food service operations;
  • manage vendor relationships and compliance; and/or
  • maintain all product merchandising, marketing and ordering standards are in place.

What You Bring:
  • food service experience;
  • have a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization;
  • possess the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and exhibit a passion for a high-level of customer service;
  • exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and/or
  • demonstrate working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems as well as menu graphics programs.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
