Position Overview:
As a Flooring Territory Sales Representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, promoting our products and services, and achieving sales targets within your designated territory. You will work closely with the sales team to identify opportunities, provide exceptional customer service, and contribute to the overall success of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals in your assigned territory.
* Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, architects, designers, contractors, and other industry professionals.
* Prospect and qualify new leads and opportunities to expand the customer base.
* Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and educational sessions for clients.
* Prepare and deliver quotes, proposals, and bids to clients, negotiating terms and closing sales.
* Collaborate with the sales team to coordinate sales efforts, share market insights, and support each other's success.
* Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
* Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences to promote the company and build relationships.
* Provide regular reports and updates on sales activities, pipeline, and forecasts.
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in flooring sales, building materials sales, or a related field is preferred.
* Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
* Strong understanding of the construction, design, or flooring industry.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
* Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
* Proficient computer skills, including experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools.
* Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
* High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in sales or flooring is a plus.
