Field Service Mechanic / Construction Equipment Technician – Barnsco Texas
Hutto, TX| Full-Time | After-Hours Availability possible

Barnsco Texas, a Kodiak Building Partners company, has been a trusted provider of construction equipment rentals, sales, and maintenance since 1984. We’re looking for a skilled Field Service Mechanic / Construction Equipment Technician to travel to job sites, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain heavy equipment including forklifts, tractors, trailers, and rental machinery.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform preventive maintenance, mechanical and electrical repairs, and diagnostics on construction and industrial equipment.
• Service equipment directly at customer job sites , keeping machinery running safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a fully-stocked, organized service vehicle and communicate clearly with customers and service managers.
• Use schematics and computer-assisted troubleshooting tools to solve equipment issues.

What We’re Looking For:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in field service, construction equipment repair, or heavy machinery maintenance .
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical skills.
• Professionalism, customer service focus, and a sense of urgency.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., climb on/off equipment, and respond to after-hours service calls.
• Valid driver’s license and basic industrial tool set required.
