Marisi in La Jolla, CA is looking for an Executive Chef to uphold and build upon the restaurant’s reputation for exceptional, ingredient-driven Italian cuisine. This role is best suited for a hands-on leader with a strong foundation in Italian kitchens and a deep respect for culinary technique.
The Executive Chef will collaborate closely with local purveyors to source the finest hyper-seasonal seafood, meats, and produce, translating them into a finely tuned menu executed with precision and consistency. An active presence in the kitchen is essential, leading by example during service and fostering a culture of excellence.
In addition to culinary expertise, strong financial acumen and team leadership skills are critical. The menu has been thoughtfully honed and is beloved by the community, making this a unique opportunity for a talented chef who takes pride in being a dedicated, inspiring leader and in guiding Marisi to even greater success.
Competitive base salary in the $95k-115k range plus medical, dental, and vision benefits and a PTO plan.
