The Scrum Master/Project Manager will lead a collaborative development team practicing Agile methodologies, focusing on continuous improvement and coaching the team in Scrum practices. Responsibilities Facilitate Scrum ceremonies for one Scrum team, such as Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives Enable the team to become high performing, predictable, empowered and self-organized Coach and guide the team in Agile delivery best practices, foster an agile mindset and a culture of continuous improvement Ensure team works at a sustainable pace and protect the team from external distractions Measure team delivery maturity and performance, and review the metrics with the team to identify improvement opportunities Capture, maintain, and report KPIs Assist with, and/or, participate in, PI Planning Assist with release planning and deployment activities, as needed Participates in the Scrum Master Community of Practice sharing ideas, observations and opportunities for improvement The position responsibilities outlined above are in no way to be construed as all encompassing. Qualification Required Minimum Bachelor's Degree in IT or Computer Science, or 4 years of related experience 2 years as a Scrum Master or 4+ years as a Scrum team member or 2+ years as an IT Project Manager Communication (oral, written and listening), project management, analytic, organization, interpersonal, prioritization, multi-tasking, initiating, communication, planning and technical skills Ability to develop and maintain collaborative and cooperative relationships throughout the organization Ability to facilitate teams and client relationships to satisfy needs and identify improvements Ability to demonstrate commitment to excellent customer service and follow-through Ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects including continuous evaluation and re-ordering of priorities as business needs dictate Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from internal and external customers Ability to be flexible and creative in problem solving and identifying process improvements Ability to anticipate business needs and think with a business owner mind-set Ability to adhere to corporate work ethic standards Preferred Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experience a plus Knowledge of other Agile approaches, such as Kanban and XP a plus Knowledge of Healthcare industry and understanding all major workflows associated with the healthcare claim processing preferred Seniority level Seniority level Entry level Employment type Employment type Full-time Job function Industries Software Development Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at Jobright.ai by 2x Inferred from the description for this job Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Get notified when a new job is posted.
