Responsible for the day-to-day technical administrative activities of the business’s certification program. Provides detailed direction to program participants; coordinating activities with other departments; initiating and executing improvements to existing processes; assisting with the development of new processes as needed and communicating with authority to participants and partners overseas.

Your responsibilities will include :
  • Administering certification program in a manner that continually strives to reduce the entry barrier into the program by developing and maintaining training tools, aids, and processes to make the process easier to access and navigate.
  • Enforcing the certification program through review of product catalogs for technical correctness and format of data, enforcement of technical provisions, outreach to program participants on technical matters, investigation of claims of products, and consistent interpretation of provisions of the program. 
  • Periodically preparing reports on the status of certification program.
​​​​ Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering with up to 2 years practical engineering experience, or associate’s degree with up to 5 years HVAC design experience.  
  • Has a basic understanding of the Lean principles.
  • Experience with Quality assurance
  • Demonstrates a good knowledge of common laboratory tests and equipment.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office required. Willingness to learn Excel VBA and basic programming is preferred.
  • Must have a valid passport or the ability to get one within 6 months of hire as international travel will be expected periodically.

Work Environment
This position is in-office and may be partially remote and mainly consists of computer work and talking on the phone or in-person.  Both domestic and international travel is required for up to 20% of the time.
