JBF Business Media, home of CBT Automotive Network and Atlanta Small Business Network, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Email Marketing Coordinator to join our team.

In this role, you will lead the execution of our email marketing strategy, managing all aspects of email campaigns, from content creation and list segmentation to performance analysis and optimization. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, data-driven, and passionate about leveraging email marketing to drive engagement and business growth.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and optimize email campaigns for two networks, including email creation (using templates and HTML), copywriting, asset coordination, quality assurance, and scheduling.

• Manage automated and manual email programs across the subscriber lifecycle, including prospecting, nurturing, retention, loyalty, win-back, surveys, and transactional emails.

• Segment and target audiences to enhance engagement and maximize performance against key metrics.

• Oversee the email marketing calendar to align campaigns with business priorities.

• Leverage customer data (such as web behavior) to personalize messaging and content.

• Conduct A/B testing to optimize subject lines, content, design, and send times, providing insights to improve overall performance.

• Collaborate with designers and content teams to refine email creative and templates based on industry best practices.

• Monitor and optimize email deliverability, ensuring compliance with email regulations and best practices while minimizing subscriber churn.

• Perform render testing across devices, email clients, and ISPs to ensure proper display and functionality.

• Analyze and report on campaign performance, including key metrics such as open rates, click-through rates, conversions, and unsubscribe rates.

• Stay informed on industry trends and innovations, continuously identifying new opportunities to enhance email marketing effectiveness.

Requirements

• Proven experience in email marketing, including campaign execution, list management, and performance analysis.

• Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms.

• Strong understanding of email regulations, compliance, and industry best practices.

• Track record of growing, engaging, and analyzing a large email marketing database.

• Experience creating and managing email campaigns from start to finish.

• Graphic Design experience for email marketing creative.

• Proficiency in HTML for email formatting and troubleshooting.

• Knowledge of SEO/SEM and how it integrates with email marketing strategies.

• Exceptional written communication skills with a strong attention to detail.

• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
