The range for this role is $71,000 - $97,000 Actual base pay will be determined based on a successful candidate's work location, skills/abilities, experience, and education. This role includes opportunity to receive an annual bonus target of 10% of annual eligible earnings. Actual bonus amounts are determined by length of time in role, individual performance, and organizational performance. Interested candidates must be willing and able to work onsite a minimum of 4 times per week in either our Melbourne, FL or Orlando, FL office. The Job The EDI Analyst works closely with the Manager, EDI as well as Christian Care Ministry's IT department to maintain Needs Processing's daily EDI transactions and any troubleshooting related to these daily functions. In addition to daily responsibilities, the EDI Analyst will be an instrumental consultant for future enhancements and projects of the Needs Processing Department. Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities Analyze, design and develop specifications for enhancements and extensions to electronic data interchange application interfaces and maps Maintain and execute daily EDI imports, exports, conversions, encryptions and transfers Troubleshoots and resolves technical errors related to EDI functions Prepare required documents, evaluate reports, and document all failed translation processes Perform testing and maintain test data on all EDI maps Execute future conversion enhancements Maintain process documentation on all jobs Interface between Needs Processing, Information Technology and Business Analytics departments Advise Needs Processing leadership on the technical aspects of future endeavors Frequently interface with internal/external customers and make significant contributions to department goals and planning efforts Provide support to all EDI production processes and mentorship to EDI technicians Contribute to the exercise and expression of Christian Care Ministry's Christian beliefs Perform all other duties as assigned Essential Skills & Abilities Ability to solve a diverse range of complex problems, working with limited direction Proficient in EDI file format 834, 270/271, 837, 276 and 278 Strong knowledge of Batch Scripts Strong research and investigation skills Knowledge of Salesforce Reporting Experience with Claims Management Software Demonstrated experience with FTP Connections Familiar with PGP encryption Knowledge and skill with SQL/Access Reporting Familiar with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA) Knowledge/application of standard security protocols for electronic data transmissions Knowledge of HIPAA law and ability to adhere to HIPPA standards Ability to apply standards of protected health information exchange Core Competencies/Demonstrable Behaviors Action oriented - Taking on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency, high energy and enthusiasm Collaborates - Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives Manages Complexity - Making sense of complex, high quantity and sometimes contradictory information to effectively solve problems Being resilient - Re-bounding from setbacks and adversity when facing difficult situations Resourcefulness - Securing and deploying resources effectively and efficiently Tech savvy - Anticipating and adopting innovations in business-building digital and technology applications Education and/or Experience Bachelor's Degree in relevant field with 3-5 years of EDI experience in or for a healthcare payer organization or combination of education and experience required CPI Certification (Preferably LSS Green Belt or Agile/Scrum) preferred Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities Incentives & Benefits We work hard to serve our Medi-Share Members, but know we can only do that if we invest in our employees professionally, financially, physically, socially, and spiritually.
