JOB POSITION: Warehouse Supervisor
SCHEDULE: Tuesday – Friday 1st Shift 4:30am-3:00pm
This job position is required to supervise and coordinate activities of workers, engage in verifying and keep records on outgoing shipments, and prepare items for shipment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Leads the warehouse team and oversees the day-to-day operations including shipping, receiving, staging, and inventory control.
· Review shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, and orders to determine shipping priorities and methods.
· Shift and allocate resources, when necessary, cross training associates and manage changing priorities.
· Ensure shipping equipment is maintained and coordinate repairs when needed.
· Track packaging and shipping material inventory levels.
· Coordinate workflows to maximize efficiency and minimize labor costs.
· Collaborate with internal departments and external suppliers to meet shipping deadlines.
· Train and coach team members; develop work instructions and support policy compliance.
· Ensure a safe work environment and recommend improvements to enhance safety and productivity.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 3–5 years of supervisory experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations.
· Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to multitask.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and the ability to write work instructions.
· Solid math and problem-solving abilities.
· Effective written and verbal communication skills
· Candidate must be detail oriented
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
· Computer knowledge required
EDUCATION:
· High school diploma or GED (Required)
