Milton Hershey School (MHS) is expanding to serve more students and is seeking a Director of Enrollment Management and Data Analytics to oversee the application process and enroll a growing and unique student body in accordance with the Schools Deed of Trust. This is an on-site position that compensates between $138,000 and $184,000, plus benefits.

The Director oversees the entire application process, from file review to interview and enrollment. The Director also oversees a staff of 20 employees to fulfill enrollment goals. Each year the Department contacts thousands of families, processes over 7,000 applications, and enrolls approximately 500 new students. The Director also collaborates closely with the Senior Director and EMFR colleagues in the development of strategic marketing plans. The Director is responsible for complex reporting and analytics to inform processes and admissions decisions. This requires the ability to stay current on best practices, trends, and technologies in the enrollment management and data analytics field.

The Director is also responsible for managing all student records for a current student population of over 2,100 students and almost 12,000 alumni with records dating back to the early 1900s. Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Develop and implement annual strategic plans to meet growth requirements.
  • Oversee, develop, and maintain data systems and tools.
  • Lead the collection, analysis, and interpretation of data to inform enrollment decisions, strategy, and improve operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and present monthly/annual reports, dashboards, and presentations to senior leadership on enrollment performance and data insights.
  • Develop and implement enrollment strategies to drive student recruitment and retention.
  • Manage and maintain current enrollment data.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to develop and execute data-driven decisions, proactively communicate, and achieve goals.
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and guidance to enrollment management team to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Administrative oversight of budget, as well as maintaining policies & procedures.
  • Student records management oversight.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in education, business, marketing, or affiliated program.
  • 5 plus years of experience successfully overseeing a high-volume recruitment process.
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications, particularly Excel and database management. Skills using enrollment management software and CRMs a plus.
  • Exceptional skills in developing value-add reporting & analysis.
  • Experience with complex recruitment processes and managing high volume of applications.
  • Demonstrated success leading teams to meet goals and leading change.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Exceptional ability to organize and multi-task competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated skills in budgeting and fiscal stewardship.
