Atlas Network is seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to lead our online communications efforts.

Position Overview

The Digital Marketing Manager promotes Atlas Network’s Coach, Compete, Celebrate!™ business model by developing, executing, and optimizing digital marketing strategies to engage our audiences, including Atlas Network partners, donors, and staff. You will collaborate with our experienced creative, marketing, and fundraising teams to author, distribute, and measure digital content campaigns that drive support for our mission. The core of this role, which reports to the Director of Customer Acquisition, is to create value for our audiences by making effective use of Atlas Network’s enormous media library, which contains countless stories, testimonials, insights, and images featuring brilliant and courageous people advancing free enterprise and individual rights in countries throughout the world.

Core responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Develop and implement digital marketing strategies: Plan, execute, and manage comprehensive marketing campaigns to promote Atlas Network's initiatives across various digital platforms.
  • Social media management: Manage and oversee the organization's social media presence, including content creation, content calendaring and scheduling, monitoring, and community engagement on platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and others.
  • Analytics and reporting: Use tools like Google Analytics, social media analytics, and other relevant platforms to track, measure, and report on the performance of digital marketing campaigns. Provide insights and recommendations to optimize campaign effectiveness and achieve goals.
  • Email marketing: Use email marketing software to design, create, and distribute engaging email campaigns to nurture relationships with partners, donors, and supporters. Develop automations, monitor performance of customer journeys, and refine strategies to maximize conversions.
  • Content creation and management: Collaborate with creative and marketing professionals to develop digital content, including graphics, videos, blog posts, and other formats. Ensure content aligns with the organization's branding guidelines and resonates with target audiences.
  • SEO and website optimization: Work closely with staff and vendors to implement SEO best practices, optimize website content, improve organic search rankings, and drive traffic to key landing pages.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Continuously research and evaluate emerging digital marketing trends, tools, and platforms. Stay informed about best practices in nonprofit marketing and help improve our strategies to achieve organizational goals.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of demonstrated career experience in digital marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in social media management across various platforms, including content creation, scheduling, and community engagement.
  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics and other tools to track and optimize campaign performance.
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and practices, including campaign creation, segmentation, automation, and analytics.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create engaging content for different digital channels.
  • Paid advertising: Manage digital advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and LinkedIn Ads to increase brand visibility, reach, and conversions. Monitor campaign budgets, analyze performance, and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders, including creative professionals, marketers, nonprofit partners, and outside vendors.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

Location:

This position can be based at Atlas Network headquarters in Arlington, Virginia, remote, or hybrid. Candidates must be based in the United States and eligible to work in the U.S. without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
