Role Responsibilities:

• Production environment hands-on experience with core AWS technologies (EC2, VPC, EBS, ALB, RDS, S3, EKS, ECR etc) or similar cloud technologies
• Previous experience and full understanding of all of the phases of the Software Development Life Cycle. This includes planning and defining concepts to full production deployment
• Deploy, configure, and operationalize resilient, highly available production grade k8s clusters
• Develop IaC for cluster orchestration and application deployment using a variety of tools such as Ansible, Terraform, Packer, Helm, Kustomize, GitLab, etc
• Work with a variety of cloud native tools to add capabilities and secure the platform
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across all layers of the technology stack
• Strong communication skills in both written and oral format

Requirements

• 3 + years of experience with RHEL (Red Hat Enterprise Linux) or CentOS administration
• 3+ years of experience with AWS cloud technologies and CLI
• Have a strong understanding and experience with automation tools
• Worked with Kubernetes and/or other containerization
• Experience troubleshooting DNS, VPN, and networking configurations
• Fluency with Bash, Ansible and other scripting and automation technologies
• Possession or ability to obtain 8570 IAT Level II Compliant Certification
• Must hold an active DoD Top Secret Security clearance with SCI eligibility. Must be willing to undergo a polygraph examination

Preferred Requirements:

• Bachelor's in computer science or similar field
• Experience with DevSecOps tools and concepts such as Static Code Analysis, image scanning, GitLab/Jenkins, Nexus, ArgoCD
• RedHat and / or AWS Certifications
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and other container technologies
• Familiarity with AWS capabilities and offerings
• Experience with National Security systems and Air Gapped Environments
