Prescott & Prescott Valley Endodontic Associates is recruiting for their next full-time dental assistant. This position provides an amazing opportunity for someone with no dental experience to enter the field of dentistry while working for the #1 rated endodontic practice in Arizona!
Our dental practice specializes in performing root canals. Because we are so highly specialized, the breadth of procedures that the dental assistant is trained on is narrow. This allows our dental assistants to refine their ability to assist our doctors while perfecting their trade. In order to help our assistants be successful, we have developed step-by-step, proven systems to work by and have invested in the best technology and equipment available.
As a dental assistant in our office, you will be trained on how to take x-rays and 3-D scans. You will become an important player in the diagnosis process as you learn to collect all the appropriate information from patients and communicate this information to the doctor. You’ll learn how to sterilize instruments, provide the treating doctor with all the instrumentation needed during the root canal process, clean and prepare the treatment room, and document the care provided to patients.
As a new employee of our practice, you will start making $18-20/hr. You’ll then have the opportunity to supplement your hourly wage through our daily bonus system. With time, you’ll earn up to FOUR (4) weeks of vacation each year.
Your work schedule will consist of working four days per week from 8am-6pm—no weekends!
