We are looking for a Dental Assistant who loves what they do and wants to work is a private practice with a dentist who provides the highest level of care. Our ideal candidate will be a dependable caring team player who enjoys assisting because of the difference they make in a person’s life. Applicants should have exceptional chairside manner, excel at patient education, be good with computers, be able to take x-rays, and provide the highest level of customer care to our amazing patients from check-in to check-out. We are looking for candidates who think long term and are dependable, committed, responsible, organized, and punctual with daily tasks. Candidates should be flexible and willing to help where needed and be willing to go beyond a job description. We are seeking a leader who is able to help with systems, operating procedures, and compliance. Our office does a lot of surgeries, implants, and restorative work. A strong understanding of dental sterile techniques, sterilization procedures, OSHA HIPAA compliance and excellent work ethic is required.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: - ordering supplies - sterilization - cleaning - treatment presentation -.
Dental Assistant Duties & Responsibilities:
-Review the schedule and prepare for the day/week as needed
-Set up and tear down for dental treatment
-Set up systems for compliance and ordering supplies
-Assist patients with understanding their treatment and filling out consent forms
-Keep track of recent treatments and procedures and updating patient data so up to date
-Set up follow-up appointments and make phone calls to communicate with patients
-Communicate to a high level and work well with a team
-Most importantly- be dependable, respectful, kind and considerate
