We are looking for a talented Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role requires a proactive individual with strong technical expertise to design, implement, and maintain effective security measures across our infrastructure, application, and cloud environments. You will play a pivotal role in safeguarding our systems and data by leveraging advanced security tools and processes to ensure robust protection.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement security protocols to protect infrastructure, applications, and cloud environments.
• Manage identity and access management (IAM) systems to ensure secure and seamless user authentication.
• Evaluate and deploy advanced security tools, including Microsoft Defender and email gateways, to enhance threat detection capabilities.
• Perform regular assessments of network security to identify vulnerabilities and recommend solutions.
• Collaborate with teams to strengthen application security and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Respond to security incidents by investigating threats and implementing mitigation strategies.
• Optimize the performance and configuration of security systems such as ConnectWise.
• Enhance governance by designing processes for access control and security monitoring.
• Provide guidance and training to ensure adherence to cybersecurity protocols across the organization.
• Stay updated on emerging security trends and technologies to continuously improve the security posture.• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Defender and other advanced security tools.
• Strong knowledge of IAM systems and best practices.
• Experience with email gateway solutions and network security protocols.
• Familiarity with ConnectWise and its integration into security operations.
• Extensive understanding of application security principles and methodologies.
• Ability to assess and mitigate risks through effective incident response.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
