Creative Director (3D Environments)

Summary: Our Client is seeking a Contract Creative Director with expertise in crafting dynamic 3D environments
The ideal candidate is both a hands-on designer and an effective leader, comfortable directing a team and collaborating across various business units.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and direct the creation of dynamic 3D environments, both physically and digitally.
• Partner with AVP and work closely with brand designers, brand managers, sponsorship, experiential, and retail teams to express our brand across dimensional spaces.
• Collaborate with external agency partners in both consultative and conceptual roles to deliver best-in-class brand experiences.
• Lead complex projects through the creative process, from strategy and ideation to execution and refinement.
• Infuse storytelling into every customer touchpoint, including physical environments, large-scale graphics, and digital interfaces.
• Author briefs, manage project milestones, and mentor junior designers.
• Use the latest software to communicate high-level concepts and practical solutions effectively.
• Work closely with brand management and strategy teams to ensure brand consistency and excellence.
• Experiment with leading-edge technologies such as AR, VR, xR, LED, OLED, and holograms to push creative boundaries.
• Apply knowledge of physical production methods, materials, and construction techniques to projects.
• Manage multiple tasks and projects with short deadlines while balancing speed, volume, and quality of output.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years in environmental design (experiential, architecture, interior, exhibit, or retail design).
• Undergraduate degree in architecture, interior, industrial design, or a related discipline.
• Expertise in 3D modeling programs (e.g., Rhino, 3DS Max) and rendering plugins (e.g., Vray).
• Strong strategic and problem-solving skills with a critical eye for detail.
• Ability to lead a team and manage complex projects while also being hands-on when needed.
• A portfolio demonstrating award-winning built environments and experiential marketing activations for large consumer-facing brands is required.
• Experience in an agency setting is a plus.
• Bonus skills in animation/motion/video and a strong understanding of human factors and behavioral psychology in design.
