The Role

Donorbox is seeking a skilled and experienced Copywriter to join our dynamic Growth and Marketing team. We are looking for a talented and dynamic individual who specializes in writing conversion-focused, benefit-driven copy. The ideal candidate will create compelling content that engages, informs, and drives conversions. You will play a crucial role in shaping our brand's voice and motivating customer action through clear, persuasive messaging.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-impact, benefit-driven copy for various marketing channels, including websites, landing pages, email campaigns, social media, ads, and more.
• Craft copy that aligns with our brand and resonates with our target audience.
• Ensure all content maintains a consistent voice, style, and brand identity across platforms.
• Leverage expert conversion copywriting techniques to create compelling, action-oriented content.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure messaging aligns with campaign objectives.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or coursework in copywriting
• Minimum of 3 years of copywriting experience, including at least 1 year in an ad agency
• Experience crafting landing page copy for diverse brands
• Expertise in conversion-focused copywriting strategies
• Previous experience working with South African or internationally recognized brands
• Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver effective campaigns
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
• Exceptional attention to detail, grammar, and accuracy

• Fully remote based in South Africa
• Salary: $1500-$2000 USD per month
• Eligibility for employee equity plan (stock options)
