This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast's top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.
Organization & Team Overview Under the leadership of our President, Tom Karinshak, the Customer Experience Strategy and Operations (CXSO) team consists of seven operating pillars focused on delivering a reliable, end-to-end experience to our customers. Together, CXSO teams enable our frontline teams to serve our customers and drive loyalty through best-in-class operations, innovative tools and technology, and seamless omnichannel experiences centered around the Net Promoter System (NPS).
The CXSO Production & Multimedia team supports internal teammate programming like town halls, employee features, special video projects, internal channel content and more.
Role Description A perfect blend of the corporate and the creative, the CXSO Production & Multimedia team works on strategic, company-wide videos and communications for the internal CXSO team. They also support executive leader communications, like presentation decks and content for internal channels. The CXSO Production & Multimedia intern will help the team develop multimedia content and sharpen their editorial skills, while also gaining exposure to a critical element of Comcast's success - our frontline teammates who provide customer support.

The Production & Multimedia team works on many different types of projects that require a variety of creative and logistical skills. The CXSO Production & Multimedia intern's responsibilities could include scripting, storyboarding, developing presentation decks, designing creative assets, providing project management support and more.
Where can this student make an impact?
This role provides an opportunity for the student to make an impact on videos and other multimedia projects that will be featured across all of Comcast. The student who obtains this role also has a unique opportunity to support executive multimedia needs, including town halls for our entire organization.
Job Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Assist with pre-production needs including scripting, storyboarding, acquiring video and audio assets, managing assets, ensuring materials are brand compliant, etc.
- Assist with post-production needs including video editing, tracking viewer metrics, posting videos to internal channels, etc.
- Participate in meetings with the larger CXSO Communications team and project leaders to plan and assess scope of video projects and campaigns that support business objectives and goals.
- Draft communications (ex. Intranet content, Viva Engage posts, emails, etc.) that are fresh, creative and engaging.
- Review and edit materials to ensure content meets established communications standards and guidelines before publication; ensure prior approvals are coordinated and obtained prior to publication on internal channels.
- Maintain and enter metrics into project planning platform/reporting databases/reports.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Preferred Skills - Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
- Extensive experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience working with tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, etc. to develop creative content.
- The ability to serve as a team player, working with lots of different personality types and identifying areas of opportunity for our organization.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
- Production and/or graphic design experience is preferred, but not required.
- Preferred Majors: Communication, Mass Communication, Media, Journalism, Organizational Communications, Broadcasting, English
Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements - Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from a United States-based college or university
- Rising Junior or Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2025-Spring 2027)
- Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)
- Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program - June 2 through August 15, 2025
- Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs
- Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Compensation Base Pay: $23.00
Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
