Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC machines including lathes, mills, and routers to fabricate parts according to specifications.
• Utilize CNC programming software to input machining instructions, adjust tooling, and optimize production processes.
• Monitor production processes, inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, and make adjustments as necessary to maintain standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines, troubleshoot equipment issues, and coordinate repairs with maintenance staff when needed.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
• Coordinate with other team members, including supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel, to ensure efficient production and resolve any issues that arise.
• Load and unload products for up to 60lbs

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the cement or stone industry.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
• Physically fit and ability to lift heavy materials up to 40 lbs.
• Have a valid driver's license and must be a permanent resident or citizen of Canada.
• Forklift experience is an asset.
• Comfortable working at heights, noisy and dusty environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00 per hour
