As a Client Service Associate on our Kirkland team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive outstanding service and support.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Exceptional Service: Going above and beyond to anticipate client needs, address concerns, and resolve issues quickly.
    • Serving as a liaison between clients and custodians/investment managers,
    • Managing client information
    • Handling all cashiering and money movement requests
  • Client Meetings: Scheduling and organizing client meetings and proactively preparing meeting materials in advance
  • Client Onboarding: Facilitating the new client onboarding process:
    • Opening brokerage accounts, establishing cashiering needs, setting up online reporting access
    • Updating cost basis, tracking required minimum distributions, reconciling account information
    • Sending and receiving documents to clients, their advisors, and investment custodians
  • Documentation Excellence: Maintaining accurate client records and managing documentation with a keen eye for detail. Entering and maintaining client data and activity notes in our CRM system

  • Client service experience in an office environment (financial services experience is a plus) and the desire to work in a team-oriented, small-company environment
  • A Bachelor's degree (finance or related focus is preferred)
  • Interest in building a career in the wealth management industry
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with Salesforce CRM and/or Tamarac portfolio management (or similar systems) is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing business correspondence with proper grammar and punctuation
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow established processes consistently
  • Strong prioritization skills and the ability to manage tasks independently
  • Excellent reliability (the team's hours are 7 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday)

In terms of pay expectations, we assess each candidate individually based on their experience and qualifications and offer competitive compensation that reflects the value they bring to the team. Base pay typically starts between $55k - $70k plus an annual bonus and a generous benefits package.
