Projects include sports complexes, parks, event centers, government complexes, and municipal engineering work

Position Purpose To assist in management of National Brands projects, design team coordination and permitting while exceeding client expectations
Work with a team of technical managers, project engineers, designers, and CAD techs as well as subconsultants to achieve project success
Provide leadership, coaching and mentorship to design team within the National Brands division

Essential Functions + Responsibilities - Manage high volume accounts with clients & project locations across the U.S.
- Assist in leading a production team, provide resource management, resolve both technical and design problems, coach, train, and mentor design and CAD professionals, and work collaboratively with all team members on all aspects of project deliverables
- Work with Technical Managers to guide design and production of civil engineering construction documents (site plans, utility plan/profile, stormwater management facility CDs, design reports, specifications)
- Client relations, business development, account financial performance
- Assist in review agency coordination for site permitting and entitlments
- Work in accordance with company standards with project team from concept phase through construction administration for a variety of projects
- Scheduling of projects for permitting, internal resources, and viability of deliverables for clients
Qualifications - Four-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in Civil Engineering or similar field
- 5+ years of experience in civil site design and team management
- Strong proficiency in design of water and sewer mains, mass grading, roadway horizontal and vertical design, erosion control, and storm drainage for commercial projects
- Thorough background in civil design, governmental regulations, AutoCAD-CIVIL 3D, plan preparation, surveying principles and construction techniques
- Experience working with client prototypes and standards preferred
- Experience with multi-site retail rollouts and high-volume design preferred
- Candidates should be prepared to provide work samples
Preferences - PE, AICP or PLA licensing preferred
- NCEES (National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying) license preferred
