Responsibilities & Qualifications

Public Works Director

• Oversight, maintenance, and improvement of the city’s streets, alleyways, and public ways



• Snow and ice removal, compost site operations, flood control maintenance, and engineering.



• A bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Public Administration, or a related field.



• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in public works management, including supervisory experience.

Utilities Director

• Management, operation, and maintenance of the City’s water delivery system, sewage collection and disposal systems, stormwater infrastructure, and the airport water system.



• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering, Public Administration, preferred.



• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in water/ wastewater utility management, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
