Chief People Officer / Head of Talent – High-Growth Venture | Series C Are you a CPO / Head of Talent who thrives in high-velocity environments? We’re partnering with a disruptive, well-backed (brand name investors) scale-up poised for aggressive expansion. This is a rare opportunity to shape the financial trajectory of a company entering a game-changing phase. The Play: A 9-figure Series C equity raise is imminent, followed by a tightly sequenced M&A strategy. The business has developed defensible IP and a commercial product perfectly positioned to capitalise on current U.S. industrial policy and global geopolitical tailwinds. The timing is no accident. This is a business built for this moment. The Opportunity The role has an initial focus on People – recruiting great teams and retaining them. You will have the support of an experienced in-house recruiter but the role requires top level strategy in addition to short term process. It will suit either a CPO / HRD with a specialism and passion for hiring & retention OR a Snr Talent Acquisition expert looking for a broader role. You’ll bring: Start-Up experience – this is a unicorn growth experience so hustle is non-negotiable. Solid experience in a technical market – engineering, industrial manufacturing, infrastructure… An analytical and process driven mind. Comfortable operating in multiple jurisdictions. International a bonus. Location: The business is based in the Northeast U.S. Will suit locally based candidates OR those open to relocation. DC would also be considered. The right candidate will need to be willing to embed themselves in the mission.
