We’re seeking experienced and strategic Category Manager to join a growing team within the luxury/durable goods space. Ideal candidates will bring a strong background in e-commerce, global sourcing , and managing complex product categories.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in e-commerce operations and international sourcing
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica, NetSuite, SAP)
- Skilled in managing key vendor relationships and working with big-box retailers (Amazon, Wayfair, Home Depot, Lowe’s, etc.)
- Hands-on knowledge of the Amazon platform , including Seller Central and storefront management
- Track record of managing large product catalogs (1,000+ SKUs), particularly in luxury or durable goods
- Understanding of finished goods , BOMs (Bill of Materials) , and product lifecycle management
- Expertise in developing and executing cost-saving sourcing strategies and protecting margins
- Experience in pricing strategy development and profitability analysis by SKU
- Strong background in inventory management , with a focus on turnover, aging, excess, and slow-moving items
- Ability to drive supplier performance , ensuring timely delivery and quality standards
- Strong project management skills and cross-functional collaboration with finance, supply chain, logistics, and sales teams
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, including with executive leadership and external partners
